Ladies Movie Night

On Friday, October 10th at 7:30 PM come to an after hours ladies movie night.  If you love Jane Austen, this event is for you!  See what happens when a modern day 30-something, obsessed with Jane Austen, blows her life savings to experience a world that was created based on her favorite author’s novels.  Bring a friend and have a relaxing night out for free!  Registration is required, please call (609)926-7991 ext. 3.

Book & Bake Sale

The Friends of the Linwood Library are holding the annual Fall Book and Bake Sale on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th, 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM.  You’re sure to find bargains on books, movies and so much more.  Support the Friends of the Library and fill your bookshelves at home.

We are currently accepting donations for the book and bake sale.  Please drop off gently used books, CDs, DVDs or games on the table in the downstairs hallway.  Thank you for your support.

Halloween Party

Come to the library in your Halloween gear and join us for games, story, craft and music with Miss Jacki.  Children of all ages are welcome to participate.  Date and time TBA, please check back soon for more information.

Story Hour

Story hour with Jacki Kellum is held on Tuesdays at 10:15 AM, Wednesdays at 10:15 AM & Wednesdays at 1:00 PM.  Come to the library each week for music, story and craft with Miss Jacki.

Linwood Library Book Club

Book Club meets once a month on a Friday at 11:00 AM and is hosted by Maria.  Book list and dates:

“The Giver” by Lois Lowry (October 17th)

“Wonder” by R.J. Palacio (November 21st)

Lego Club

September 19th, October 17th, and November 14th, 3:30-4:30 PM.

Children ages 6 & up join us once a month to build a creation based on the theme of the day. Each builder has the opportunity to share his or her creation with the group before the session is over. Please call (609)926-7991 ext. 3 to reserve your spot.
