Welcome to Novel Effect and a world of magical read-alouds!
The Novel Effect app responds to your voice with interactive music and sound effects as you read aloud from a popular children’s book to make story time together magical. Choose to read aloud from old-fashioned print books or our selection of in-app ebooks.

To activate your access, click or tap GET FREE ACCESS below, then follow the instructions to:
- In the username field, type your complete library card number Pxxxx. If your library card number is only three digits, add a 0 to the beginning. – In the password field, type linwood
- Download the Novel Effect app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Create a profile in the Novel Effect app.
