Linwood Public Library, NJ

The library occasionally will have books for sale on the upper and/or lower level of the library. The collected cash is placed in the labeled box in the cash drawer on the upper level or given to the director or assistant director. Items may include discarded or donated books, DVDs, CDs or any other items the director approves.

The staff may use their discretion in determining the cost of the items. In general, prices are as follows:

Paperback books $0.25
Hardcover books $0.50
Select hardcover books $ 1.00
DVD $1.00
CDs $0.50 -$1.00
Popular/bestsellers $5.00

The Friends of the Linwood Library organize Spring and Fall Book and Bake Sales. The organization determines the dates, times, advertises, and schedules volunteers. The library accepts donations from the community a few months prior to the sale. Proceeds from all book sales go to the Friends of the Linwood Library.
