Please join us! The Friends is a group of people like you and me who care about the well-being of the Linwood Library. It is a volunteer, non-profit organization that provides support, services, and funds to the library. The group meets periodically to discuss fundraising, library resources and events, and programs. It also comes up with new, exciting ideas to help the library achieve its goals.
Some of the Friends’ activities this year have included our fun (and delicious!) Book & Bake Sales, intriguing speakers, excellent children’s story hours, film showings, horticultural and other educational programs, the new Makery activities, help with all of the children’s programs, and our special celebration of National Library Week in April. Our weekly Summer Evening Family Events are always a tremendous success! We offer many exciting programs for all age groups.
