Oceans of Possibilities at the Linwood Public Library
Summer Family Evening Events 2022
Linwood Public Library is excited to announce our 2022 summer reading program Oceans of Possibilities. Sign up at the circulation desk for the reading program starting June 20 and pick up a free bag with special instructions.
Our library provides a line-up of entertainment for the entire family sponsored by the Friends of the Linwood Library and our generous supporters. Please make note of the days and times.
Tuesday, July 5th at 7:00PM – Adventure Aquarium Center for Aquatic Sciences – With an “Ocean of Possibilities” there is so much to learn about the unique creatures that call the ocean home.
Wednesday, July 13th at 7:00PM – Life in a Salt Marsh with the Wetlands Institute – Salt Marsh ecosystems are some of the most productive places on planet Earth. Participants will assist a Wetlands instructor in creating a living model of a salt marsh.
Tuesday, July 19 at 7:00PM – Music with Crystal Murphy – Bring the whole family for an enjoyable night with singer/ songwriter, Crystal Murphy, and her magical ukulele!
Thursday, July 21 at 3:00PM – Ocean Waves with Rutgers’ Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences program – Kids K -4th grades will learn from a Rutgers marine biologist about what makes the ocean move through stories and hands-on activities. MUST REGISTER/ LIMITED SPACE/ SPECIAL TIME
Tuesday, July 26 at 7:00PM – David Darwin, the One-Man Sideshow. As seen on America’s Got Talent, David Darwin will delight you with his stunts, juggling, and comedy. Come see and enjoy all he can do!
