What Is It?
Our 3D scanner uses lasers to create a high-precision digital 3D model of a real-world object. This model can then be printed on a 3D printer. Need to make another game piece for your favorite board game? Want to 3D print your child’s PlayDoh creation? Do it with the 3D scanner!
How Do I Use It?
Library cardholders must be at least 14 years old to use this equipment without an adult. Call us or sign up here to reserve your 2-hour time slot.
Bring your object to be scanned to The Makery and use the Matter and Form 3D Scanner and the MFStudio software to create digital files that can be 3D printed.
